In the sanitary industry, thermoforming technology is commonly used to form acrylic bathtubs, hydromassage and SPA (Jacuzzi) bathtubs, bathtub casings, shower trays and cabin covers, elements of tourist, airplane and bus toilets, and portable sanitary cabins. The basic materials are acrylic, ABS with acrylic, HIPS and polyethylene. The dimensions of the elements are usually large, and an additional challenge is the required large stamping depth. Therefore, special SPALINE thermoforming machines or classic semi-automatic thermoforming machines with manual loading and precise control of the heating, blowing and forming process are used for production (individual power control of each heater, vacuum and balloon proportional valves, balloon height control). Molded parts usually require reinforcement with an additional layer and cutting and drilling on CNC milling machines.
