Vacuum thermoforming allows the production of many products in the medical industry, starting from basic equipment, such as bed elements, chairs, trays and cuvettes, and ending with parts of very specialized medical equipment, such as incubator housings, dental chairs, X-ray and RMA device housings. This industry mainly uses polycarbonate, acrylic, ABS or ABS combined with acrylic. The machines usually have an automatic plastic feeder and various equipment, depending on the dimensions of the molded products, diversity and size of production series. 5-axis CNC milling machines are usually used for cutting and final finishing.
